National Prevention Week “I Choose Campaign”
The “I Choose” Project is an easy way to make a difference, be a positive example, and inspire others – take a photograph of yourself holding a sign with your personal message about why substance abuse prevention or mental health is important to you. For example, you could write “I choose prevention because I want to be healthy and happy.” Or you could include “I choose treatment…” or another “I choose” statement, such as “I choose not to give up because things do get better.” Click here for more information.
Above the Influence
Above the Influence’s goal is to help teens stand up to negative pressures, or influences. The more aware you are of the influences around you, the better prepared you will be to face them, including the pressure to use drugs and alcohol.
How are you doing? Are you above the influence when it comes to pressure? Take this quiz to find out.
